Jharokha
Big
The jharokhas bring to mind pictures of palaces with their
decorative jharokhas from whence the king appeared before his
subjects or from whence the ladies of the palace watched the
proceedings of the court or any cultural programs. The jharokhas
were also extensively used on elephant backs for the king’s
use in battle or otherwise.
