Dragon Tortoise (Lo Shu Turtle) is a splendid animal which is sacred
as a symbol of longevity, strength and endurance. Ours is called
the yuan, whose nature embodies the qualities of the Dragon (luck)
and the turtle (longevity). It is the attendant of the Water God,
and has the power of transformation. It has an ingot on its back
(for financial prosperity), AND for good measure it is standing
upon waves of water (flowing prosperity). The dragon is a luck animal
which brings the chi of success, courage and determination. Combine
it with the longevity of the tortoise and you have just the thing
to keep at your office for steady and longlived success without
succumbing to greed. Lillian Too suggests putting it behind your
desk on a shelf to give you lots of support... So, of course, I
did just that... Ours measures 2" at the base, and is made
of brass, and is looking upward, as a gesture of striving for perfection
